Feeding Giraffes

Last Thursday Mikayla and I went to the Phoenix Zoo with Jamey, Simone and Quinn. We arrived early and went right over to the Giraffes. We didn't have to wait at all and were able to get right in and feed the Giraffes. I've never done this before and I had a blast. Mikayla was loving it too. The zoo was so much fun and we are excited to go back again soon because we have a zoo membership for the entire year. So fun!

Las Vegas for Melanie's Birthday

Jon surprised me with a trip to Las Vegas for my birthday. Grandma Mary and Grandpa Bill were able to babysit the kids Mikayla and Willie Dog so that we could go for 4 days. We left on my birthday (Jan. 7) and drove to Las Vegas. It was about a 5 hour drive. We were able to do some of my favorite things and see some of my favorite hotels and places. We even got in a nice dinner at the Hofbrauhaus. Mmmmm, yummy German food and beer!
